Our visual arts workshops provide young artists opportunities to work with professional artists to develop their visual arts skills, creative self-expression and critical thinking. Participants are challenged in a supportive environment to grow as individuals and also to practice teamwork as groups collaborate on large-scale public artworks. The Performance Project holds visual art residencies, bringing our creative and community building process to youth who are incarcerated and in residential treatment. Our visual arts program is a partnership between The Performance Project, Center for Human Development, and the Department of Youth Services.
